D-Sub Hoods
Provertha GmbH offers a wide product range with more than 20 hood systems for appropriate and individual solutions.
Quick and easy assembly due to functional design with a minimum number of components is an essential feature of our D-Sub hoods. The user creates the custom-made solution for his application with a variety of options regarding latching, cable exit and a large range of accessories.

Provertha’s product portfolio includes a wide D-Sub hood programme with different latching techniques, different shielding solutions and protection classes for the custom-made solution in your application.

The D-Sub hood range is completed by a large range of accessories with crimp flanges, crimping tools, cable clamps, cable support sleeves and bend reliefs.
Different locking options
Different locking options are available for easy and quick:

Screw locking with knurled screws in metal and plastic in different lengths

Push-pull-locking with the innovative „Quick Lock“ system for the easy and secure locking with one-hand-handling with high reliability

Cable exit and cable junction according to your application
For the realisation of a cable exit that is fit for use, various options are possible for the cable junction:

1, 2 or 3 cable exits, for example for fieldbus use
An easy and fast mountable solution is available for the secure strain relief and the shield termination:

Cable clamp versions for cable diameter from 4-16 mm

Crimp flange system for hf-proof 360°-shielding for cable diameter from 3-16 mm
Hf-proof application with 360° shielding system
Provertha’s crimp flange system in combination with the die-cast hoods or metallized hoods reaches a 360°-shielding, which guarantees a solution which is hf-proof and fit for use in environments with EMI/RFI interferences.
The crimp flange system consists of a crimp flange and a crimp sleeve which is available in versions based on the cable diameter.
Quick and easy field assembly is achieved by the crimping tool and various crimping tool inserts for the different cable diameters.
