1981 Foundation
Provertha is founded by the Szalay family in Pforzheim.
1986 Beginning of production in Hungary
The production of connectors is started in Beled/Hungary.
1987 New company building
Provertha moves into the new company building in Pforzheim-Büchenbronn.
1989 New location in Beled (H)
In the Szalay family’s newly renovated former company building production is taken up again. The company was nationalised by the communist government in 1956.
1995 DIN ISO 9001 certified
1996 Patented wire soldering aid connector “wire clip”
The wire soldering aid connector “wire clip” is developed and patented.
1997 Opening of Location Sárvár
A modern and high tech manufacturing facility for plastic moulding and cable assemblies is built in Sàrvàr, Hungary.

Set up of toolmaking in Sàrvàr.

1998 QS 9000 certification
1999 New technology
Board assembly with wave soldering machine is added to the technologies used in production.
2000 New technology
The Macromelt overmoulding technology is implemented.
2002 Product development and expansion
Metallized plastic hood with a special locking system “quick lock” – known as QLH system – is developed and patented.

ISO/TS 16949 certified

The zinc die casting technology is implemented in Beled.
2003 Opening of third location in Hungary
A new modern high tech manufacturing facility for cable assemblies and harnesses is put into service in Kapuvàr, Hungary.
2004 Own product development
A die cast hood version for the QLH system is developed and implemented.
2005 Own product development
600 volt connector is developed and produced.
2006 Company’s 25th anniversary
A number of technical innovations is brought to the market in the 25th anniversary year.

The mixed layout connectors programme is extended.

The Wire Clip series receives a straight soldering version for the most compact cable connection on printed circuit boards.

The cable assemblies and plastics manufacture departments receive several new machines.
