Provertha’s I-Net M12 Crimp PROFIBUS cable connector in compact design
Pforzheim and Hannover, Germany, April 20, 2009 – Provertha’s I-Net product series offers innovative solutions for industrial communication and automation. Adding to this product family, Provertha developed a new IP 67 M12 Crimp PROFIBUS connector ensuring a fast and reliable field bus connection.
Fail-safe connection and fault-free data transmission are important criteria for PROFIBUS devices with M12 interfaces as a faulty PROFIBUS connector can result in down times of process and automation lines with related costs. The new I-Net IP 67 M12 Crimp PROFIBUS connector fulfills these requirements with turned crimp contacts providing a fast and fault-free PROFIBUS single wire connection as well as a hassle-free contact assembly by simple insertion of contacts locking securely.
The innovative connector design with its compact dimensions is ideal for space critical applications.
Furthermore, a crimp flange system cares for 360° EMI/RFI shielding. A full metal shielded and waterproof hood ensures protection level IP 67 and effective EMI/RFI shielding as well as high robustness in rough environments. The hexagonal crimp of the outer shell provides a vibration- and torsion-resistant strain relief for the cable in rough industrial environments.
The ergonomic and optically attractive grip shell ensures simple push and pull. M12 connectors come with the standardized B-coding.
