Provertha presents extensive product and solution portfolio for industrial automation at Hanover Industry Fair
Provertha, developer and manufacturer of connectors and electro-mechanical components, presents at the Hanover Industry Fair (hall 11, booth D26) from 04th to 08th of April 2011 new miniaturized fail-safe Plug&Play M12 bus connector solutions for Profibus and CAN-Bus, In addition very compact field attachable M12 Profibus and Profinet connectors with 360° EMI/RFI shielding will be presented as new products for industrial automation.
Provertha presents the current portfolio with a comprehensive range of products and services including standard and special connectors with a full range of accessories, individual data cables, cable harnesses and cable sets, and complete solutions for plastics manufacturing and tool-making. Economical board-to-wire and cable solutions for industrial electronics and automotive applications will be presented as well.
The new male I-Net IP 67 M12 Crimp connector fulfill the requirements for simple fail-safe connection in the field and fault-free data transmission by offering over the lifetime a safe shield contact with the solid metal 360° EMI/RFI crimp flange system and a safe signal contact with the turned crimp contacts. The design provides a fast and fault-free PROFINET/Industrial Ethernet single wire connection as well as a hassle-free contact assembly by simple insertion of contacts into a contact holder. Together with a pre-assembled cable the contact holder is pushed into the insulator body in the connector’s front part. This innovative connector design allows for very compact outer dimensions to fit into especially restricted mounting conditions.
A shielded full-metal housing and the crimp flange system enable an effective 360° EMI/RFI shielding and a fault-free data transmission. Moreover, the new I-Net M12 crimp has been developed with a waterproof housing design to ensure compliance with the IP 67 protection class. The full-metal housing cares for high robustness against damages. Also the 360° EMI/RFI crimp flange system with hexagonal crimp of the outer shell provides a vibration- and torsion-resistant strain relief for the cable in rough industrial environments.
The ergonomic and optically attractive grip shell ensures simple push and pull. The M12 connectors come with the standardized B-coding. Available are gold plated crimp contacts for AWG 22 and 0.5 mm2 connection dimensions as well as the fitting crimp tools. In addition to the standard version for the 6.5 mm PROFINET line Provertha offers versions for special cabling e.g. in railway systems with outer diameters of 6.6 mm, 7.3 mm and 8.3 mm.
